Not quite fully standing on legs, still a bit squatted. Face around eyes looks a bit swollen. Removed towel. Bird boated then scurried to back of kennel, half-standing.

| Weight: 529 grams, Keel score: 4.0 ------------- PHYSICAL EXAM FINDINGS ---------------- Head Behavior and Neuro: BAR Mouth: dirty Ears: AD bloody, crusted over Body Spine: NSF Vent: NSF Body condition score: 4 Fat: Keel, Abdomen Wings Left wing: No fx palpated, full extension Right wing: No fx palpated, full extension Legs Left leg: No fx palpated, full extension, DPR ++ with some resistance Right leg: No fx palpated, full extension, DPR ++ with some resistance Ectoparasites: none seen Finder witnessed young RSHA be HBC, brought in. On admission, bird was BAR and vocal. Menace was slow in either eye, and though both retinas were a bit hazy, no significant damage seen. Treated and placed in KR2 kennel with donut. Bird rolled out of donut and attempted standing a few times, hopped while squatted then landed on hocks and sat in the back. Start on 1/2 + 1/2 for now, monitor leg use. TREATMENTS GIVEN 0.10 ml butorphanol tartrate IM 0.05 ml meloxicam IM ~12 ml LRS SQ R leg
